The situation
The problem was not lead volume. The company was getting into conversations, but too many of those conversations ended up being fought on price. The positioning had become broad enough that buyers could see the product without seeing why it was meaningfully different. Sales compensated by explaining too much, discounting too often, and adapting the pitch from deal to deal.
We went back through the buying journey and rebuilt the commercial language around the problems the strongest customers were already paying the company to solve. That work flowed through the website, the sales narrative, campaign messaging, and the way inbound opportunities were qualified and handled.
The useful part happened inside sales. The team picked up the new language because it made their job easier, and deals stopped being about defending price.
That is the short version. What the first ninety days looked like, and what we got wrong on the way, is a conversation rather than a web page.
